A few days ago, I went to a park in my city, a different one this time, to create some content. To my surprise, the park was full of people enjoying a lovely afternoon with their pets.
I'll start by showing you these photos, which are a bit unusual because I think it's the first time I've seen someone bring a cat to the park, so I couldn't miss the opportunity to photograph it!
There was a couple sitting with a small dog and an even smaller kitten, so I approached them and asked if I could take a couple of photos, and they gave me their permission. I started by taking some photos of the tiny kitten:
I told the girl to bring the kitten closer to her face to get this shot:
Then I continued by taking some photos of the dog. Since the grass was a bit tall, I told the owner to place the dog in it, as those photos look super nice with a good sense of depth created by the grass:
The owner tried to move the dog and ended up getting bit, hahaha!
The couple told me the story of their pets: they wanted to adopt a pet together, so they went to an animal shelter. Each of them chose one they connected with, and they went home with a dog and a cat, to whom they gave a new life!
Then I took a photo of them all together as one adorable family:
We exchanged contact information so I could send them the photos, and we said goodbye. I kept walking through the park and saw that it was full of dogs. From a distance, I saw a dog playing, and just as I got close to it, it climbed onto a rock, and I was able to get this photo:
In another part of the park, I found this black dog that looked like a mop, hahaha!
Afterward, I saw a guy playing with his dog from a distance and asked if I could take a photo. I have to say, this was the most difficult dog to photograph so far, it was full of energy and never stayed still. It was very hard to get a good shot!
The solution was to tell the owner to crouch down and hug the dog to get this photo:
I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera and a 50mm f/2.8 lens.
It was a pleasant afternoon of photography in the park, and I came home very happy with photos that I think are beautiful. I hope you like them as much as I do!

An attack of cuteness, the one of the kitten is very beautiful.
I imagine the owners would be happy with the photos. Will you send them to them?

I love love your work. Great little write up and it’s so nice to have spontaneous human connection. Please post more people and pets content and I will try to do the same.
