I think the most affordable setup is an AlbyHub running on an old tiny PC or Raspberry Pi. AlbyHub doesn’t need a big SSD. Just a small solar panel.
I’ve been running AlbyHub alongside a Start9 machine for a while now. The AlbyHub runs as an LXC container on Proxmox. It works really well.
You do need to be aware, though, that you’re not running your own Bitcoin node that AlbyHub can rely on. So you’re trusting Alby for that part.
But for day-to-day use, transactions are super smooth. Totally different from Tor-based setups.
