Their GitHub org looks pretty dead to me, last push in any repository was three months ago

That's what I was thinking. I like the idea, but it may be too awkward and clunky to get real cooperation.

I liked the idea too. What problem would it solve for you?

Avoiding regulatory capture while building a business. That's the concept, anyway. It reminds me of Odell's comments on a nostr funding panel discussion that zapping what you like actually can provide substantial funding. His comments were regarding a specific project, though, and I don't see that as a realistic model. In the same way, I have trouble envisioning the nostrocket idea producing real results.

Agreed, but now: what specific problem do you want to solve with this? Do you have a freedom project right now that you want to collaborate on or crowdsource solutions for? To test it out? I don't think this has seen much testing, but that doesn't mean it cannot be tested - can even just spin up a test instance and do it. Today.
But for this to be meaningful, there needs to be something to pilot it with.

Unfortunately I don't have a specific idea. I wish I did. Maybe your push will be an inspiration.
