With these live comments will we still get red dot notification on notification icon? There's a chance to miss some comments without this red dot, innit?

The notifications red dot remains and is separate from comments, its purpose is dedicated to many more things other than comments: zaps, mentions, etc.
The comments section doesn't have yet such things, other than a blue outline that distinguishes new comments from existing comments. A new way to know when there's a new comment is coming soon!

That's great. Sometimes I miss some messages even in private direct messaging. Without this red dot I'd miss everything over here
