I wonder how these models would fair against a chess engine. I assume they would lose since they don’t specialize in chess.

Chess is too simple for Elon to worry about anyhow. Perhaps his Laissez-faire towards the game has bled into his product. 

No word on how either of them do against Atari 2600 Chess, though.
