I am not sure if this is the case yet or if Trump has to do more but some of these kids need to actually face time in jail or some sort of punishment. Cause between not charging kids and sending them to jail or this little tid bit
In the most serious criminal cases, young people who are arrested, prosecuted, and found responsible for an offense are committed to DYRS. From then on, DYRS is responsible for providing effective supervision and intervention to youth in their custody and reducing the likelihood that they will re-offend. The most recent and comprehensive data from the Mayor’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council – a 2022 study of juvenile system outcomes – reveals that 92.7% of young people committed to DYRS are subsequently re-arrested, and nearly half are convicted of a new offense.
Something has to clearly change.

Yeah that is a massive problem the local PD are dealing with a juvenile who keeps stealing cars. The laws on the books say they can’t jail him. Dude must of stolen like 50 cars by now
