As a React/JS/Python dev, I am completely new to Machine Learning/AI. Any idea on how to start from scratch if I need to pursue a career in ML/AI 🙏🏽

Unless you want to be an AI researcher, you'll be looking to become an applied AI engineer and I'd begin by applying/using open models to solve problems.
