Feels like Synonym has been trying variations on this theme for years. I like their ideas but maybe the problem is they are trying too hard for it to be the solution for everyone, everywhere, and everything. Maybe they'd find more traction if they really narrowed in on a specific use case.

Interesting take.
Honestly, I think they are a bit over-engineering things. The solutions adopted seem good, but it looks like they are looking for the best possible development, instead for the solution that just works.
Which could be great, but may lack adoption in the long run..
