You also can not punish all students.
Punishment is not your job. You can only make rational consequences. 
If all students are bad, there is probably a reason. Ask them.

kids are soft af these days. my younger cousin wanted to join the army and was upset becuase the drill sergeant called him a cunt lol

I actually don’t think standing for 30 mins constitutes as corporal punishment, but I have learnt! Thanks for understanding where I am coming from - I do think kids need to be intimidated sometimes
