What do you think is the simplest and fastest method to send bitcoin from the lightning network to on chain? Are there any non-custodial wallets that do this with low fees?

Firstly, LBTC generally refers to Liquid Bitcoin (or sometimes L-BTC), or even on some exchanges LBTC is for some shitcoin that was deviously named "Lightning Bitcoin".
LNBTC is sometimes used to refer to bitcoin on Lightning network. But all "bitcoin on LN" is bitcoin, so a separate symbol is simply a method to differentiate between on-chain bitcoin and bitcoin on Lightning network.
As far as your question, an answer with a plethora of methods comes from @Darthcoin:

Also, see another post here on SN which has some good comment replies:

In any case, if you want to move funds from lightning to the blockchain.
muun wallet is a very good option to use. just create a new wallet hit receive chose lightning and send whatever you want to move to the blockchain, after that you send it to your on chain wallet as normal.
another option is fixedfloat.com, they charge you 0.5% fee for the transaction, so depending of the amount you want to move, it can be better use muun.

Boltz.exchange is pretty good.
I think there's an SN post with a nice list of these.
