The Lightsats team would like to give everyone an update on what we have been up to after winning the Legends of Lightning⚡️Tournament.
Updates ✅
- We launched a new landing page for final pitch day on December 7th - https://lightsats.com
- Continued to work on multi-language support, we have now added our project to Weblate to support full translations in (Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Norwegian, and Thai) If you want to contribute to translating into your native language please join us on our Discord channel and you can also visit our profile on Weblate. https://hosted.weblate.org/projects/lightsats/
- Work on email templates used for the welcome emails, authentication emails, and reminder emails
- Redesigned:
- Create a tip page
- Easily toggle between fiat vs sats
- Added “⏩Skip Onboarding” (we’ll cover this later)
- New user flow to personalize a tip, you can skip it for now or personalize it.
- We optimized the onboarding flow
- Added a carousel of 8 slides on the “What is Bitcoin?” on step #3. https://lightsats.com/journey/bitcoin
- Optimized the wallet downloads page:
- Added the importance of self-custody explanation by ChatGPT:
- “Self-custody of bitcoin is like keeping your own house keys. Having the keys gives you direct access and control to your property and helps ensure that no one else can enter or access it without your permission.” https://lightsats.com/journey/wallet
- Added user achievements which user can unlock a total of 28 badges
- Profile progress completeness
- Added Tipper notification center, know when a user claims their tip and once they have withdrawn it to self custody 🍊💊
- Fullscreen QR Code when tipping someone in person, you can click on “Open in fullscreen”
- Christmas Bitcoin Cards (We highly recommend using Chrome to download these PDF's, Safari does not properly format the PDF and it breaks the entire thing)
