Welcome! Most people around here are, indeed, very nice, friendly, and welcoming. But you might also encounter the odd unfriendly supremacist bully who will fully display their bigotry and spread their hatred. Don't get discouraged by them, son pocos y cobardes. Just don't mind them, ignore them, and keep going about your day, enjoying your interactions with the rest. :-)
