Well, it may be a shitcoin but I don't think it will die anytime soon anyway since one can buy stuff with it on DNMs.
So why not use it as the tool it is? Because then "I am supporting it"?
If I can achieve privacy more efficiently by using monero, I will.
If I can achieve privacy more efficiently by swapping into LN and back to onchain, I will.
Same with coin joins etc.
I know you are a hardliner regarding shitcoins but I tend to be more pragmatic.
I don't see how using this will hurt bitcoin or anyone else in any way.
People buy monero because they want to buy stuff on DNMs. And that definitely does work.
So I don't see how they are getting scammed or whatever other (valid!) reason you may bring up when talking about other shitcoins.

Better using a private shitcoin then using sats without privacy. Privacy is a human right and Bitcoin is not able to serve this. It's not private by design, so its only suitable for governments being transparent and Monero is for the people. True story, so please stop crying and start to push Bitcoins privacy in the right direction
