Indeed - I try not to engage with people that champion these types of narratives because it's really hard to argue with those that don't understand a thing about the thing they're interacting with. 1
I expect that in the not-too-distant-future, I will have to add "running local AI and actually wiping its memory" to my already felonious list of "shit I disobey".
