The tournament advances and it's clear that main favorites in each side of the bracket are confirming their chances. Sinner and Alcaraz won their matchups without losing a set and are in third round. Both of them have stayed in court pretty much the same amount of time: Sinner 3h 39mins and Alcaraz 3h 41 minutes.

As mentioned above, Alcaraz and Sinner completed their matches in straight sets. Also Musetti, Zverev, de Minaur and Shelton did not lost a set this round. Fritz and Djokovic needed a fourth set. Serbian player lost the first in the tie break, though recovered well to win the match in the following 3 sets.

Khachanov (9) lost his match against Polish Majchrzak, 76 in the ATP. Draper(5) announced he was injured in his arm and did not show against Bergs.

On top of Khachanov and Draper, up to 8 more seeded players lost their matches. Rune (11), Ruud (12), Mensik (16), Davidovich (18), Cerundolo (19), Tsitipas (26), Nakashima (30) and Diallo (31) have left the tournament.

Altmaier completed another long match again Tsitsipas and qualified for the third round. This time, it took him 4h 21 minutes to beat the Greek. On aggregate, he has been in court 9 hours 7 minutes and will play in the third round against Aussie de Minaur, who has spent in court just 3 hours 53 minutes. Will the German be able to beat him?
