I have yet to meet a transgender programmer that it's not excellent, but that's of course a stereotype. One could argue that gender dysphoria has some links with being on the spectrum, thus having the ability to hyper fixate on something.
Take Alyssa Rosenzweig for example, she built a fucking OpenGL conformant Apple GPU driver for Linux from scratch (Apple don't even support OpenGL).
