I thought stackers might be interested in this recent Facebook ban of a friend of a friend. I should add that his political views have been causing a stir for years, apparently. Here is his description of what happened:
It was a repost of a 15-year-old photo I didn't even take. It was of a sign out front of a strip joint advertising for dancers of high moral character. It was itself from the 1960s, which I obviously didn't take. I thought it was still hilarious when it popped up in my memories. I figure there were already complaints for political stuff, and this was the last straw. They labelled it as outside community standards for human trafficking. We are in Bizzaro world. The algorithms are in charge, and they rejected my appeal.
good riddance

I agree about the good riddance....but practically speaking, in my area almost EVERYTHING for sale second hand is sold on facebook. So, you're cut out of that market.

Hmm...like using someone else's Facebook account? Not sure exactly what you mean.
I was trying to help a friend create a Facebook account once...I can't remember what happened but he somehow he lost his facebook account. I absolutely could not get another one setup. All kinds of obstacles.
