Introducing #ClassifiedsIntroducing #Classifieds

SNZ is morphing, expanding, changing . . . is that okay? Would you mind very much if it became a newspaper?
In the next issue of SNZ, we've got 8 spots up for grabs. For 1000 sats you can own a 2.5" by 2" block on the back page of our weekly circulating bitcoin-only publication to sell/promote/fundraise/shit talk however it pleases you to do so.
Use this link to make your purchase and spell out your message.
Space is open for the next issue of SNZ, Issue #25 to be published on September 12.

Any questions? Thanks ya'll!

forgot to mention one last link! here is the full readable web version (not yellow)

reply

Love how this is evolving, congrats and good luck! Thinking about the classifieds... do you have any data you can share on views of the digital version and how many copies of the physical version you send out?
-Tom

reply

I know that we're doing 'boutique' numbers on copies sold. hmm and there's no particular set of data on the digital end. I'm not a tracker, really, not a strength of mine.

Are the classifieds sold out? I'm getting an error on zaprite when generating ivnoice

reply

not sold out - try again?
I don't know, does @k00b know?

reply

I'll take a look. But my node should be okay - certainly plenty of inbound liquidity.

reply

If it helps, the error occurred while trying to generate an invoice, not during payment

reply

It appears to be working again. Looks like alby was timing out. My node was operating fine during the same period in other contexts so it might've been on their end.

reply

Payment succeeded. Huh, it seems like Zaprite has a bug though, because after paying 1,000 sats for the classified, I clicked the link to the actual zine, and got a screen saying "Order Complete" and it redirected me to @plebpoet's website. Probably soemthing to do with how they handle cookies, or maybe in how these items were set up in their system.

Anyway, not really asking for any troubleshooting, just thought it'd be interesting to remark.

Hey @SimpleStacker, thanks for the feedback.I'm not exactly following what the bug is. Can you clarify? From my understanding…

  1. You clicked a link (in an email?)
  2. You landed on a Zaprite Order Complete screen
  3. You got redirected to the website
reply

Sure, here is what happened:

  1. I clicked this link https://pay.zaprite.com/order/od_zmDFAL2O16 and paid 1,000 sats successfully.
  2. I then clicked this link https://pay.zaprite.com/order/od_sXf4l9LUXy in order to pay for something else. But when I clicked this link I got redirected here: https://www.plebpoet.com/zines.html?orderId=od_sXf4l9LUXy, and this is what I saw on the screen before the redirect happens:

I think it is a bug because I never actually completed any order for that second item.

FWIW, the redirect is still happening, and I'm on Windows/Brave browser (but shields are off)

thanks much, yeah i programmed for that redirect when a sale completes

something weird idk, thanks for communicating

It's too much yellow.

reply

input is appreciated!

reply

It's cool all other responses are positive. Keep it the way you like.

reply

all is fair, I even agree with you. Just trying out different stuff

reply

I got it now. Honestly, if you ask me, this yellow could be like not this much yellow (could not be yellow at all as well), but everyone is liking it this way, so be it. 🙂‍↕️

I like that you're trying new stuff. Maybe it will lead to something more cool, so I'd say go with it.

reply

Not too much yellow enough!

reply

Ok k, maybe people love it. I think this was chosen by consensus

reply

Is this included in my SNZ monthly Sub?

reply

sure is! I just tossed those in the post office box :)

What's the deadline for this, and what happens if you get more submissions than space?

reply

I have capped the amount of submissions that will be accepted for issue 25

deadline is thursday, Sept 11

thanks, good questions!

reply

I see you have your stacker.news lightning address as an email link on the payment page for ads - is that something everyone can do?

reply

I actually mean it as an email there
