We will have the expected final. Alcaraz beat Djokovic in 3 straight sets (you got it right @Undisciplined!) even though I was not so convinced about this outcome. However, the match was pretty physical and Djokovic could not follow the pace. After losing the 2nd set in the tie break, the third was just a training session for Alcaraz.
I could not watch the second SF due to time difference here in Europe. Sinner needed 4 sets to defeat Felix Auger. Apparently , the Italian asked for a medical time at the end of second due to some concerns in his stomach. He managed to recover and won the 3rd and 4th to join Carlos Alcaraz in tomorrow's Final.
This leads us to the standings after the semifinals:
Five stackers, including @Undisciplined, @User21000000, @Entrep, @brave and @Carresan, added 16 points, leading to an exciting final day in our pool.
On aggregate, @Undisciplined remains at the top with 49 points, two points clear from @User21000000 and 4 from @Carresan. A bit further, @suraz has 39 , @Entrep 32 and @Zion 29 points.
@grayruby and @BlokchainB are left without any options for the last day as they did not add points in the SFs.
Picking your winner
In the Final, if you pick the winner, you will receive 8 points. In addition, if you guess the correct number of sets, you will receive 16 points.
To make things more interesting towards the Final, you can send a DM to @grayruby with your picks, so that they remain secret. We have done it in previous contests and it worked really well. You can contact him in Nostr or wherever he suggests.
Alternatively, you can leave a comment, as usual, at the end of the post.
Please, provide your winner and number of sets. As a tiebreaker, in the remote case we have a tie, please provide the number of games that will be played in the final. In case of a tie, the closest to this number wins.
