For connecting to your node over the internet instead of Tor. You also have to have it installed on your phone or any device you want to connect to your node from. When you use Tailscale, you can connect your wallets to your node's Tailscale address, instead of the Tor or local addresses you will find in Electrs (you still have to install Electrs). This way, you don't have to connect to Tor (incredibly slow and unreliable) to access your node.
