The Republican Party tried all of that before, and they got nothing from it except electoral losses. Enforcement of existing immigration law is not "nativism." The US has nothing to gain from more immigration, much less the open border Democrats are demanding. We can't cut taxes without running a deficit because there's too many deep state expenses that are simply impossible to get rid of.
