@k00b: I ran a donation address off an npub for 3 years back when BIP32 was new, and I never had a gap past 60 without reuse. So 1 out of at most 60 people sent me sats.
I don't understand what makes people discard more than 300 actual unpaid invoices in a row except people exploiting this...
Because I got tired of the gaps, I ran a notification for what derived index did get paid. This makes recovery easy after time, because you can simply scan up until the last notified index.

But yes. I've long been discussing with friends to just build that "sweep my shit" app that restores from seed into your (Wasabi) address target of choice (or xpub and let's have some real pseudonimity)
