We generally set up TVs in rooms which are often not larger than 20x20 and watch it mostly from less than 10 feet. I like to watch on a 43 inch TV from such distance than on a 65 inch or more. Do you guys also feel the same way? Or, you think the bigger the screen of a TV is the better viewing experience it provides??

Go big! It's better for your eyes to sit further away.
I've seen people watching not from far on an 85". Is it healthier to watch on a big TV from closer distance?
As far as I know it's similar, because the issue is your brain tries to focus your eyeball to the wrong depth, because apparent depth of field differs from actual.
The further away you sit, the closer to parallel the incoming light is and your eye just goes into its long distance setting.
Wow! Great insight.
That means I ain't getting any benefit of watching on a smaller TV from about 20 feet, haha.
Yeah, it's really interesting. I picked that up from an episode of The Darkhorse Podcast.
Depends on the size of the room.
Let's say .... What about a room of 20×20?
I am assuming feet. Good size room. 60 inch tv
Yes feet.
The issue is that I've one 43 inch, one 55 inch, and one more of 65 inches. The bigger ones are placed in 12×14 rooms while the smaller one is placed in the hallway which is bigger in size. I asked the other members of my family to exchange places and they simply denied.
Because my room is nearest to the hallway, I've to watch on a 43 inches from about 20 feet, haha.
I prefer 32" or under. You don't need it to be much bigger depending on what you watch things for. I mostly watch things for the story and hate allocating a large footprint to a tv.
