Looks like the fedimint ecash app got a website with lots of screenshots!

First thing I noticed is that while they use the sat symbol for their app icon, they have adopted the @BitcoinErrorLog decimal-free approach.

It looks like they use some of the awesome Here Comes Bitcoin graphics in the app!

Also there's NWC functionality.

I like the blue they are using, too. I'm excited to give it a whirl.

I totally agree with you; the verbal travesty that is "I'm gonna zap you 1000 bitcoin" should be avoided.

There's a setting where you can just use "sats" as a suffix, or nothing at all, cuz duh!

We default to BIP177 but I get not everyone likes that, so we made it configurable. I also prefer saying "sats" to bitcoin, but I like the symbol.

Can't get NWC send to work with it over SN, no matter which relay I use, not even my friends&family relay.

lnaddress verified to work though, so that's nice.

Unfortunately you need a whole crazy setup for debugging it because it's nix-based, rust and flutter and then gradle... the apk looked clean though

But I'm for the moment not going to bother trying to debug because of the dev environment complexity.

Yeah our dev environment could use some improvements. We use nix heavily in Fedimint but unfortunately nix and flutter don't play well nicely together so its a bit of a mess right now. Something we're hopefully going to improve soon.

I'll test on NWC on Stacker News this week and try to get it working. Sorry for the difficulties. The app does need to be running for it to work. I mainly tested using Amethyst so it is possible I missed something.
