"What a wonderful day!" Elisa exclaimed. Elisa and her mother went to the magnificent playground near their house. Elisa's mother helped her climb up the steps of the slide. They were excited and wanted to enjoy their afternoon.

Elisa's legs felt like jelly but she still excitedly climbed up the steps. Unfortunately, she missed a step and fell off the slide. A sharp pain shot up her legs. She immediately screamed loudly. Tears flowed down her face.

Shocked, Elisa's mother ran towards her. She was worried about whether Elisa was injured. She then wiped Elisa's tears gently. The other people in the playground also approached them. They talked to Elisa and tried to comfort her.

Elisa felt touched that so many people were concerned about her. She was embarrassed to get so much attention. She finally calmed down and cheered up. She thanked them sincerely and went back to playing.

"Finally! It's recess time!" Andy exclaimed excitedly to Cody. Andy and Cody immediately left the classroom with their classmates. When their classmates were buying food at the canteen, they went back to class. These naughty boys wanted to carry out an act of mischief.

Andy and Cody were eager to play a prank. They placed a dead cockroach inside their teacher's book. When they dropped the cockroach into the book, they had cheeky grins and laughed evilly. Their smiles were as bright as sunflowers.

When recess ended, the whole class sat down and waited for their teacher, Ms Lim, to arrive. Ms Lim came to class. She opened her book on the teacher's table. She saw the dead cockroach and screamed as loudly as a lioness. Shocked, she dropped the book. Her face turned as black as stormy clouds.

Ms Lim immediately asked the culprits to confess their wrongdoing. Andy and Cody felt guilty and owned up. Their faces were as red as tomatoes. Ashamed, they said sorry profusely. They learnt not to play pranks on their teacher again.
