I'd say it's in the same league as chess. Contrary to what a lot of people think, poker isn't a game of luck, it's a game of skill. To me, it's a mental sport.

People and time used to just filter out all the nonsense. The problem is now with the internet, that stuff gets way more exposure. It was always around, it just used to be limited to a local thing.
