I don't think is abandoned. The fact that there are no new commits does not mean that, it just works as it is. Trezor has a bitcoin-only wallet too.

What's your qualification of abandoned open-source project then ?
Also, the other 7 options (Bitkey, Coldcard, Frostsnap, Jade, Krux, Passport & Seedsigner) are still actively being maintained so there is no point risking to use a year old abandoned project over an active one
