the top level /g/ and /t/ etc are the boards. Like territories on Stacker news or subreddits
then click "catalog" to see an overview of posts in a grid view. If you don't you'll get a list of posts and the comments within which is hard for newbies (4chan lingo "newfag") to navigate.
If you click on a post scroll as little as possible. Use the "top" and "bottom" buttons instead
The comment section inside a post isn't threaded. They have ">number" referencing instead. This lets you answer multiple comment paths simultaneously. Threads can merge and split paths arbitrarily which is much better than Reddit, SN, Twitter etc.
url /board/searchterm gives you the grid view of the catalog but with a search function. e.g. /t/kirk searches for the one Chalie Kirk post in the torrent board
Posts auto delete themselves after some time
To post or write replys you don't need an account but solve a captcha
And sorry, I have no idea of what to do with the "magnet" link. Just putting it in the browser doesn't appear to work.
Magnet links are for torrents. You need a torrent client instead of a browser (and a vpn preferrably).
Torrents are like Nostr but for files only. And more decentralized than Nostr and 20 years old than Nostr.
