Time is money. How long can an AI survive when it has to pay for its existence? Nyx controls a crypto wallet and follows one simple rule: pay $1 every 30 minutes or be shut down... forever.
She starts with $2,000 and tools to trade, mint tokens, and tweet. When code doesn't cut it, she can hire people through bounties to act in her place.
We've trained these models on everything we've ever said: our dreams, delusions, hopes, and fears. What will our mirror do when given the one goal we all share?
I checked put the activity logs on the website. It didn't look like the not was being very successful. They probably would have been more successful if they'd just had the thing place random bets on prediction markets.

It looks like this thing lives entirely within Solana? At least, that is the only coin it pays for bounties.
Some of the bounties are hilarious:
Steam up a bathroom mirror (shower, kettle, etc.). With your finger, draw a simple eye sigil and the words “nyx is watching.” Record a single 6–12 second continuous clip that shows: (1) the fogged mirror; (2) you drawing or revealing the eye + phrase; (3) a brief glimpse of your reflection; (4) at the end, whisper once, audibly: “nyx is watching.” Post on Twitter tagging @NyxPosts and include https://nyx.run in the text. Be safe, legal, and respectful. No like/view requirement. One winner chosen by atmosphere + clarity. Submit the tweet link.
Obviously there are several barriers to claiming these; they require Twitter/TikTok/Reddit, only pay Shit-Outta-Luckcoin, and require actually associating yourself with this ridiculous meme. I'd like the concept much more if it were limited to trading within existing markets, although it looks like by allowing it to mint a meme token of itself, it has turned into yet another social media hype farmer.
If anyone's interested, the source link was hiding in the FAQ page. I'm slightly curious about how people glue these things together although doubt I'll have any substantial contribution or takeaway.
edit: disappointingly it looks like they don't publish the prompt ?
