I'm very bad taking decisions... So, I just want some help.
We (my wife and I) are in the process of buying a property to be our home. We have narrow the search to 3 options, the properties are very hard to compare, due to different location, sizes, views, etc...
We don't need a big house, we just want to have at least 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom and a great garden to grow our food and for our dog to enjoy nature.
The options are:
PROPERTY A: with a main house of 214 square mts in a plot of land 22.000 square mts. Main two stories house and an old ruin, this could be a tiny house. Flat terrain and beautiful house.
LOCATION: 5 km to a small city, 45 km to a big city.

PRICE: (≃ 1,22 B o 3,52 C) For the price of the A you could get 3,52 properties C or 1,22 properties B
PROPERTY B: with a main house of 94 square mts in a plot of land 2.098 square mts. Main two stories house, plus another two stories smaller house. The river is in the garden, great from fishing and swimming. Property in the mountain.
24 km to a small city, 61 km to a big city https://postimg.cc/sQC4DZqg
PRICE: (≃ 0,82 A o 2,88 C)
PROPERTY C: With a main house of 150 square mts in a plot of land of 1700 square mts. Main two stories house and an old ruin, this could be a tiny house. Great views, plenty of hiking trails and outdoor activities around. Property in the mountain.
19 km to a small city, 55 km to a big city. https://postimg.cc/MndGGkLC
PRICE: (≃ 0,28 A o 0,35 B)
Please let me know which one would you choose??
This sounds like a tough decision. When buying or renting a house, one of my main considerations has been the layout of the house itself. I want lots of light and a kitchen that isn't buried away from everything. Perhaps the layout of the various options can nudge you in the right direction?
All three options need a lot of renovations work. So, the layout could be done to our taste without problem.
Can't understand this non-freedom units to math it, but a few principles to consider:
An example of the prices:
Property A: price 20
Property B: 20 x 0,82= 16,4
Property C: 20 x 0,28= 5,60
Thanks for the principles to consider!
My pick is A, because you put it first. Also it has a lot of land for growing food, and also, its closest to civilization so you can quickly get groceries when your dream of gardening inevitably fails.
B has a cool river, and old store building, but looks like it's close to a busy intersection. River isn't your property so can't easily use it for hydro power, etc. River could be a concern if floods are common.
C has irregular property shape and is way too close to the neighbors.
The order does not matter...A is a great pick.
Some comments about B, both houses are way higher than the river. The roads are very quite, not traffic at all.
About C, the main house is not too close to the neighbors, the tiny house yes.
But, really thanks for your feedback.
