Jared Allen did have better career numbers, and more individual accolades. He played 13 more games than Rice.

Edit: Allen was great, but he had that peak year of 22 sacks as well that people remember, and the rest of his career was probably not as good as a player like Rice. It's a tougher debate and I end up doing mental gymnastics a bit.

Sapp was an all-time great, so it is extremely hard to make a Hall of Fame case for Simeon. But I’m sort of upset that Jared Allen got in. Does Simeon have to better numbers than Jared Allen?
