I think it was the fact that Pearsall and Jennings were out more than Jones. He has played well. But the 49ers pretty much had CMC and a bunch of has beens against one of the best offensive teams in the NFL with a top 5 QB (as long as he is healthy) and 2 10 top receivers. I am not surprised the Rams were favoured but the line did get a bit ridiculous at -8.5. 

Mac Jones isnt that bad so I was surprised to see the spread like it was because he had pieces around him to let him succeed.
