Would be too cost prohibitive long term for the 49ers anyways. Both Shanahan and Lynch said they are working on trade options but it has to be someone who helps this year but doesn't hurt the future (meaning cap and draft capital wise). I would be surprised if they part with more than a 3rd round pick.
I picked giants because I think they have a tough path given their division. But I guess that argument is stronger for the raiders, so maybe I should have picked them
Giants are a reasonable pick.
I think you're right about the NFC East being harder to win than the AFC West.
You could also probably argue that it's going to be harder to make the playoffs in the NFC than in the AFC.
