When I started, my focus was on "utility/function first and form / beauty later".
The initial plan was to build a simple refuge, totaly basic just to be covered to be able to work on a bigger house.
But then I notice that sleeping in a hammock outside is not so bad and also when I realized that already have a 5m long hole... I said fuck it, let's do it a proper cabin and will see later.
Every day digging I was also planning the next moves and details about the structure. Nothing was planned before.
In regards of resilience... many times I was about to give up. Accidents, bad weather, failures, lack of tools, lack of help etc almost pushed me to the limits. But I am usually very sttuborn when I start a project or I have an idea and that kept me going no matter what.
Now seeing what I can do (I never imagined that is possible), even being 50+ yrs okd, make me even more confident that this project will be amazing.
Yes! You have already gone too far. Certainly it is amazing ☺️
