Howdy guys,

Our project was invited to the AGORA thread to announce our upcoming Beta Test phase of a semi-decentralized, no-KYC/AML P2P exchange. Previously, we posted on the Bitcoin thread (#1252579), but now we see that it was a mistake, and we should publish it here only if we knew that the AGORA thread is about P2P. Anyway, it's better now than never.

Short Version for the Busy Ones:

We are a team of two devs who are building a P2P exchange named Bridgoro. At the moment, the project isn't live yet, the launch is planned for late November–December 2025. The current stage of the project is the 2nd and the last phase of the Beta Test. The first phase was on the Bitcointalk forum, which was held successfully thanks to the forum members there were found vital bugs and made UX/UI improvements. Now we are ready for the 2nd phase of testing, and of course TOP 10 most active users will be rewarded. Total reward pool is $1,500 in BTC. All the tests will be on the testnet networks using testnet tokens, so be sure that no risk will be involved. If you are interested, please find more details below, where we reveal important details about the Beta Test and features that Bridgoro has in comparison to other P2P exchanges.

And here the long read part begins with details:

Our goal is simple - build a reliable, privacy-focused P2P exchange that works without intermediaries, identity checks, or data collection, but still feels smooth and user-friendly.
Therefore, we are building a real no-KYC and no AML checks P2P exchange where the only data we store is your email address, which is only for login purposes.
We call Bridgoro the semi-decentralized exchange because we combined two worlds into one and took the best parts. An automated escrow system using blockchain adapters and smart contracts ensures secure, trustless swaps come from the decentralized part, and user-friendly matchmaking and rate modules make the platform intuitive and smooth for all users is from the centralized world.
We believe financial privacy is a human right. Traditional KYC/AML systems turn crypto into surveillance finance and expose users to:
  • Data leaks
  • Account freezes
  • Centralized control
Bridgoro eliminates these risks. You stay anonymous. You control your funds. Your transactions stay yours.
Bridgoro supports the following major blockchains at the moment:
  • BTC - Bitcoin
  • ETH - Ethereum
  • SOL - Solana
  • TRX - TRON
  • XMR - Monero
(!) NOTE More assets, including stablecoins and additional major cryptocurrencies, will be added shortly after launch.
To be sure about our project, first, we would like to test it with the community that uses P2P exchanges and get your valuable feedback. Also, we would like to reward the most active users with real funds, that's why we allocated our own funds for reward payouts. Of course $1,500 isn't a big pool, but we are doing our best and would like to give our gratitude for your help in polishing the project.
Beta Test details:
  • Launch Date: October 30, 2025
  • End Date: November 13, 2025
  • Reward Pool: $1,500 in BTC or XMR
All Beta Test event will take place on Telegram. For more details, please visit our Telegram channel, and closer to the Beta Test date, we will open a dedicated chat where all users can join. Don't forget to check out our X (Twitter) account where we also publish important information. The tests will be on the testnet networks only, and testnet tokens can be obtained from free faucets. No need to worry about testnet setup, in our GitBook page, you will find detailed guidelines on how to install testnet wallets and where to get testnet tokens. The following testnet networks will be available during the tests:
  • Bitcoin - Testnet v3
  • Ethereum - Sepolia testnet
  • Solana - Devnet
  • Tron - Shasta network
  • Monero - Stagenet
We want Bridgoro to become the go-to tool for private crypto swaps, connecting freedom-loving users who believe in self-custody and financial independence.
We aren't building another exchange. We are restoring what crypto was meant to be: trustless, borderless, and free.

Sounds good but unfortunate you include shitcoins. Only Bitcoin would be ideal.

I understand that you are a strong supporter of Bitcoin, and I respect that. But your argument doesn't really make sense, especially when you talk about <<shiftcoins>> How exactly would a P2P exchange work if it's just BTC to BTC?
It's clear that many Bitcoin maximalists don't acknowledge the existence or value of other cryptocurrencies, but let's be realistic, they do exist, whether we like it or not. The crypto space is bigger than just one asset, and diversity is what keeps it moving forward.
Unlike many who just talk about decentralization and freedom, we are actually building something that gives people real privacy, anonymity, and the freedom to exchange without restrictions.
So if our project doesn't align with your views, that's completely fine, just move along. We aren't encouraging anyone to use our exchange, and in fact, it hasn't even been launched yet.

Ideally from my PoV a DEX provides the means to exit fiat monetary slavery and acquire Bitcoin monetary freedom.
Maybe at a pinch/compromise stablecoins could be used as a bridge.
Of course you have every right to allow whatever tokens you want on your platform just as I have the right to voice my opinion that fiat and all DINO crypto, are demonstrably shitcoins.
reply
I understand your perspective, but I have to disagree. There is no real freedom in leaving fiat behind if you still can't use btc for basic things like buying food, paying rent, or covering utilities. Many BTC maximalists tend to go from one extreme to another instead of finding balance and adapting to how the world actually works. BTC in its current form doesn't guarantee freedom, it's highly traceable, and anyone can easily see your wallet balance, which creates potential security risks. If we are talking about true privacy and anonymity, Monero offers much stronger protection.
At the end of the day, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. We aren't trying to convince anyone, we are just presenting a product for those who value privacy, freedom, and choice. And as a side note, we plan to make our exchange fee-free.
reply
Agree we still sometimes need fiat but as much as possible holding your savings in Bitcoin is advantageous. The fiat overlords deliberately obstruct Bitcoins MoE because they fear it! There is IMO no need for shitcoins as they are pure speculative bubbles built on nothing except DINO lies...and are even less viable for MoE as acceptance is even lower than for Bitcoin.
You cannot see my Bitcoin balance nor can you trace most of my transactions. Neither can anyone else in most cases except a respondent...and even then they can only see the addresses from which I sent. Bitcoin and LN can give a fair degree of anonymity to users if they choose to use it with some precautions.
The unique thing of supreme value about Bitcoin is it treats all people equally without fear or favour. None of the shitcoins do that and neither does fiat.
That is great you charge zero fees but how will you fund the project? Surely you need some return on your investment, or it is a non profit project?

At the moment, the project is entirely self-funded by our small dev team. Our primary goal is to build a strong community and refine the product, and profitability will come later.
Of course, every project must eventually sustain itself, so the exchange can't remain completely fee-free forever. As stated in our earlier posts, the fee-free period will last for the first six months after release, and we may consider extending it.
Even after that period, we plan to keep the service fee as low as possible, let's say around 0.3% to 0.5% per exchange transaction, just enough to cover maintenance and infrastructure costs.

Ok understood. Seems like a good approach and all the best.
