I still have the sense that bankers get the last laugh. I'd love to see market cap divided by some productivity metric.

Pretty sure that would make a great chart. But we can't forget the banking sector's a whole different beast, heavy regulation, tons of government protection. I’m not a fan of banks and try to stay as far away as I can, but I gotta admit they’re still a big part of how society runs. Hopefully one day Bitcoin changes that.

The reason is that the banks money is other peoples money. What value creates a company that takes money from person a and lend it to person b?
