Also the book Not by Bread Alone by Vilhjalmu Stefansson (https://annas-archive.org/md5/eea8045a4edf89110ab195d48f77bd4e) is his chronicle of his year, spent eating only meat again, back when he was back in the US, and being examined in great detail by physicians at Bellevue Hospital. He did very well on it, except for the period where the doctors wanted him to eat only LEAN meat. During that period he felt miserable. And I can completely understand that, as a carnivore, because I can't stand eating lean meat. It's got to have a fair bit of fat on it.
