pull down to refresh

It seems that Singapore Oceanarium has adopted the Junior Lending Library of our Central Library, and boy, so I love it.
I love how the walls are adorned with interesting fun facts of various marine creatures - and how the information extends beyond the camouflage/blend in with surroundings rhetoric Sci teachers teach their charges in school. Personally, I would love to dive deeper into regenerating limbs - and whether scientists are researching the incorporation of such remarkable DNA into human lifeforms. But I digress.
I also love how the design is aligned with the marine theme - ranging from an eye-catching coral reef to aquatic plants to even exhibits of sea creatures. As expected, my son was fascinated by the shark teeth.
It should have been an enlightening trip for my son. However, alas, he was glued to the screen, lured by the interactive games. I don’t exactly begrudge his choice, either. Somehow, he made two friends while figuring out the games, and I prize the ability to converse with others higher than fancy head knowledge.
You should take your children there sometime! @nlbsingapore @readingnationsg
