No, Russia is no longer communist economically, but it remains the same politically: everything revolves around the leader, and no one can contradict him. They've changed the anthem, the flag, and the party name, but the system of power remains the same—centralized, authoritarian, and paranoid.
Instead of "Comrade Stalin," it's now "Tovarich Putin."
