What a goals storm we had last night! 43 goals in just 9 matches, despite one of them finishing in a 0-0 draw (Kairat Almaty vs Pafos). Barça got rid of Olympiakos 6-1, Arsenal beat 4-0 Atletico Madrid and Man City also won at Villareal 0-2.

PSG got and incredible win against Bayer Leverkusen scoring 7 goals for a final 2-7. The other German side, Borussia won 2-4 in Copenhagen. Inter Milan also scored 4 goals in their visit to Union Saint Gilloise (0-4).

A surprising PSV beat Napoli 6-2, leaving 2025 Serie A winners with just 3 points out of 9 in three weeks. Finally, Newcastle beat Benfica 3-0.

None of stackers could guess this crazy results. Let's see if today's matches are closer to average scores or they remain in the high scoring side.

Wow just a scoring surge.

reply

Hahaha, not a single 2-1 or 1-0!

reply

That just means next round there will be more.

reply

Yes, most likely. By the way , this week you've finished on top. I will post the recap tomorrow.

Newcastle put 3 past Mourinho!

reply

They haven't added any point yet. It's going to be difficult they qualify for the next round.

reply

Yeah, mostly because of the games they’ve got coming up.

reply

A tough schedule, definitely! Bayer and Napoli will bounce back after losing badly yesterday and Real Madrid is looking good this year. The easiest, perhaps, is the one against Ajax. Can't see them adding too many points.

reply

Mourinho and Benfica are totally f*ed!

Too many goals yesterday, I bet a lot of people who betted lost out

reply

A very unusual amount of goals! I think that this format helps to achieve more goals.
