They went to a cruise ship through UK and this is what happen....

Calling UK Biometrics Bluff (Please read and REPOST)
It’s not saying much but this is prob the most important post I’ve ever made. Yes, it’s long but I think we are at a time where hodling (even in self custody) while voting, signing petitions, protesting, whining on X while paying ur taxes, trying to no kyc ur btc bc ur afraid of govt just doesn’t cut it. The only option is to disobey and dissent.
We moved to ES from Canada almost 2 yrs ago now. We just returned from a cruise that started in Iceland and ended in UK. AFTER booking the cruise about 10 days before departure, I was notified that theres a new UK VISA requirement to enter UK, for ALL travellers.

I will show you screenshots page by page of the visa application process so you can see the lies and coercion we are up against.
These ss are in order. They give u an option to download their app or to apply online. Notice how many times they use the word “decision” which implies a human will assess the application manually. Notice the large/friendly cartoon/QR and “faster application and quicker decision” if u dl app vs the small, boring, hard to find “I can’t apply on UK eta app”.
Even after clicking the web option, AGAIN, they try to get u to dl app.

So I again choose to do web option and AGAIN they try to get me to dl app and even “borrow a friend’s phone” if I don’t have a phone or my phone doesn’t meet specs. They try to assure u that no info is stored and that u can delete the app after.
I decide to go to the app store to have a look at the app and u can see for yourself more of the same BS.
After finally bypassing all the BS attempts to dl the app, they try to get me to SCAN my face using laptop cam, but there’s an option to skip the scan if ur laptop doesn’t have a cam. Obv I’m gonna choose that. Read the requirements for the photo.
Look at the pics I uploaded. There’s a TV , glare, shadows, complelely green background!!!
Here is the important part, both of us CROSSED OUR EYES so they cannot take proper biometrics because one of the main measurements is pupillary distance (distance bw pupils) which does not change once we are fully grown. So, despite purposely failing all of these demands with a threat that some human will review these and reject my application and potentially being denied entry into UK, I decide to call their bluff based on what I’ve seen so far.
After the pic upload came the standard phone #, address etc. but look at how they ask the questions. Normally they just force u to fill out “mandatory fields indicated by * "
The final scare tactic. I admit it took me a couple of min to think things through….”how can they possibly know my address or phone if my passport (uploaded) doesn’t have any of that info?”
I decide to call their bluff one last time. Worse comes to worse, we lose the money on the cruise.
Look at the time stamps on these emails from receipt of application to payment to approval in less than 1 minute!
There is no human making any decision, there is no photo requirements, downloading app wouldn’t make it any faster. At the very end, it says “approval MAY have been automated”. Everything is coercion and lies. They want ur biometrics and data.
The first 3 pics are Toronto airport coercing us into biometrics but I took photos of the privacy statement.
DO NOT DO IT.
Refuse the airport scanners. Ask for a pat down.
At Gatwick, when I refused, the guy in “authoritative uniform” stood 6 inches from my face trying to intimidate me into doing it. He told me “why aren’t you doing it, there’s no radiation, we’re going to strip u down to ur underwear!” . I said “ok”. Once we got passed that guy, everyone else was pleasant as can be. They were embarrassed to do the pat down. We didn’t have to remove anything. It’s all bullshit.
The video is Iceland airport. I can only assume they are rolling out biometric machines. DO NOT COMPLY.
I hope I’ve opened some eyes. BTC will not save u if u comply. If you’re going to comply to “authority” then why not hand over your btc? Does it make sense to say “ of course i’m not fking handing over my btc” but I will hand over 40% of my earnings?
The guy at the airport is just some guy with a uniform. They don’t really care about stopping terrorists getting on the plane. They see thousands of people everyday and they just follow “rules” and want to get the day over with. They rely on people following the herd and procedures looking “mandatory” and “ convenience” for maximum compliance.
