I was ready to call BS as my debt clock, which is supposed to sync to the Treasury's website daily, didn't show $38T.
But I think it's just buggy and hadn't sync'd in awhile, because it showed $38T on restart.

At current rate it hits $50T in two years.
At that point the USA is functionally insolvent.
Nobody in their right mind wants to buy USTs anymore.
Already China holds the US military - industrial complex over a barrel with their stranglehold over rare earths supply chains.
