Flash Invoicing: Free Bitcoin Invoicing Tool

Flash Invoicing is a free tool that enables you to create and send professional invoices with embedded bitcoin payment links. It's perfect for content creators and freelancers who want to get paid in bitcoin with zero platform fees.
I tried it out so you can see how it works and decide if it's right for you.

Step-by-Step Guide: How to Set Up a Bitcoin Invoice with Flash

Step 1: Access Flash Invoicing

Visit the Flash Invoicing page to get started: Main Link: https://app.paywithflash.com/invoicing
Click "New Invoice" to begin setting up your invoicing system.

Step 2: Connect Your Bitcoin Wallet

  • You can connect any wallet that supports Nostr Wallet Connect (NWC).
  • No KYC Required: No personal identification needed.
  • Non-custodial: Flash never touches your funds—payments go directly to your wallet.
  • This ensures instant, direct payments to your wallet.

Step 3: Customize Your Invoice Template (Optional)

Customize your invoice to fit your brand and needs:
  • Add Your Logo: Upload your business or personal logo.
  • Your Own Company Details: Add your business name and contact information.
  • Invoice Preferences: Set your default currency display and payment terms.
  • Professional Appearance: Flash creates clean, customizable invoices.

Step 4: Create Your First Invoice

Fill in the necessary details for your invoice:
  • Client Information: Enter client name and contact details (saved for future use). Adding an email allows you to send the invoice directly later.
  • Invoice Details: Add a description of services/products.
  • Amount: Specify the amount in bitcoin or fiat (auto-converts).
  • Payment Terms: Set a due date and payment instructions.
  • On-chain address: Optional—Flash provides an on-chain address automatically for higher amounts if your wallet connection allows it.

Step 5: Send and Track

Once your invoice is created, you can send it to your client through multiple methods:
  • Send via email with the button (fastest and easiest, requires client email).
  • Copy the invoice link and share it via email or messaging apps.
  • Download a PDF and share that.

Real-time Tracking:

  • Monitor payment status from your dashboard.
  • Receive notifications when paid.
  • Track all invoices in one place.
When you’re done, you can easily duplicate an invoice for next month.
I like this app because it saves me time. What do you think? Would this fit into your workflow?
