people laugh at my bitcoin obsession too but it's good natured. They don't think bitcoin is stupid, on the contrary I think many think that they are too dumb to get bitcoin and so they don't bother with it.

Its worse because those that know about bitcoin are deluted and confused by shitcoins.
Its much easier to teach people that are a blank slate than to counter bad ideas from crypto.
