What does Ohtani have in store for us today?

Can the Blue Jays bounce back after a tough 18 inning loss?

Anyone watching?

Pete and John look like they just realized Bassitt was in the game.

reply

Should keep him in.

reply

It’s wild that they’re playing again tonight, considering how late the game ran last night. I didn’t expect them to change it, they just must be exhausted

reply

I am sure they are tired but it's the World Series. They all have 4.5 months to rest.

reply

Of course, it’s not like anyone is going to sit out for being tired

reply

Jays need a couple more runs @Jer. Can you make that happen?

reply

I just don’t want John to over-manage it

reply

Good job Jer.

Accidentally triggered the reply multiplier. A couple very expensive comments in this thread 🤦

I was thinking of watching this Ohtani guy

Me!

Thought we had something cooking in the first but Kirky count get on top of that high pitch.

reply

Jays have an interesting approach at the plate tonight. Take fastballs right down the middle and then swing at everything else.

reply

It's shocking how bad the balls and strikes have been called in this series considering these are supposed to be the best of the best. ABS here we come.

reply

They suspended the whole crew after the Jays Marlins series in Miami earlier this year and they weren’t this bad. At least it’s against both sides.

reply

I think we are going to see a lot of successful challenges next year.

reply

The leadership Bassitt showing by just doing whatever the team needs. Love to see it!

reply

He has been awesome. Would love for them to bring him back on a one year deal.

reply

Me too.

I’d love for Bieber to give us another season too. He’s been battling for us and I hope this run has been enough of a reward. I think he has a lot more to give.

reply

Is Bieber from Canada too?

reply

Justin Bieber yes. Shane Bieber no.

reply

Worst World Series game ever

reply

I thought it was a lovely game. Two more just like this one would be great.

Bieber pitching well. Hasn't been perfect but coming up big when needed.

reply

Walk comes around to score. Can't walk these guys.

reply

Blue Jays pitchers have been falling behind far too much in this series.

reply

Why is he bringing Bassitt in? I would be saving him for tomorrow in case Trey struggles early.

reply

Worrying about tomorrow, tomorrow?

reply

Back to the dot!

reply

I'm not mad. I'm disappointed

reply

nice job by the blue jays, coming back from a tough loss in game 3 marathon

edit: as great as Shohei has been in the post season, I think he is the primary reason for the loss tonight as a pitcher

reply

He was pretty good until the 7th. Roberts was trying to save the bullpen another inning but he probably should have taken him out after 6. He was over 90 pitches and his max for the year was 100 but that wasn’t coming off playing 18 innings the night before.
