Solid level headed answer! Were you. Poly sci major in college? Haha
Lol NOPE! I got my degree in Psychology lol! I got a BS not a BA.... Bachelors of Arts is stupid....
Always have been interested in politics though going back to being a kid... Did not expect to end up in it at all and that sure was not the plan but here we are.
I just try to take a step back and look at the whole!

Lol when people hear I got my degree in psych they immediately think it was a BA and not a BS.... I initially wanted to go and get my PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience before I had a job offer from my childhood baseball team and then COVID happened.... now I cannot imagine going back to school lol

mm... we had this debate in our department. A lot of our students think BS is more prestigious than a BA.... but most of the top econ schools offer BAs, like Harvard and U Chicago!
Sorry, but I actually think people who think BA/BS makes any difference are just unaware hahaha. What matters much more is your major and institution, not what type of degree.

ah, I can see if it's two degree programs within the same department, then they'd definitely make the BS more scientific.
I'm more referring to in our college, where we offer a BA in Economics, and the marketing department offers a BSBA (Bachelors of Science in Business Administration) in Marketing, and our students think the BSBA is more prestigious (it's not.)

Ahhhhh yeah so at A&M I want to say all Liberal Arts degrees and also a ton of other degrees you have either the BA or BS route!
For PSYC the BS route was for being looking to do research and get PhDs and the BA was tailored more towards getting a masters and becoming a psychologist
