This paper reinterprets the classical r/K selection theory through the lens of topological metonymy — where evolutionary strategies, psychological adaptations, and ecological dynamics are mapped onto the behavior of manifolds with holes, punctures, coalescences, and snap-offs. We propose that reproductive strategies are not merely ecological responses but expressions of deeper morphological logics: surfaces of continuity and rupture within the topology of life itself.
