Wow! I'd never actually read about someone's experience with plants and growing them. I know that learning about them brings a certain peace and learning, and it takes you further, allowing you to interact, share, and connect with all those who love the earth, the garden, and the agricultural world. My mom has a small garden, although she doesn't harvest anything edible yet; the compost and her plants make her happy.
