Third anon here: while the arguments made by the other anon posters are amusing, they are also weak to non-existent, which is why they employ identity- and character-based attacks. The bitcoin network is much bigger than any group's political or social ideology.
The OP does make a good point that men have deferred responsibility to women, which signals to women that the men in western societies are weak (many would agree). In my experience, women want to be led and cared for by a competent man – they despise the uncertainty that is created by indecisive/submissive/emotional men who pander to their needs. What they espouse in public is also at odds with what they enjoy in private. I'll even go so far as to say that most women don't know what they want and will inevitably find something to complain about (a bit like the average nümale). The best course of action is to enjoy the spectacle and laugh it off; if it's your date/gf/wife, give her a hug followed by some more serious "affection".
And always remember the No 1. rule of leadership: everything is your fault.
