So you may have heard that two Cleveland Guardians pitchers were recently indicted for pitch rigging (intentionally throwing balls or hitting batters) yesterday. During the course of the almost two year scheme bettors won $450,000 by betting on the outcome of their pitches.
In response MLB and sportsbooks have agreed to limit the amount gamblers can bet on individual pitches to $200 and prohibit these bets from being included in parlays.
